Most heavy truck radiators come in plugged rather than punctured. Years of scale and additive buildup restrict the tubes, temperatures creep up on grades, and eventually a seam lets go. We clean and rod the core, repair or re-tank as needed, and pressure test to spec before it goes back in the truck.
When a core is past saving, a heavy-duty recore built to the original size gets the truck back in service quickly and often cools better than the worn factory unit. We also test and repair charge-air coolers, which fail quietly and cost you fuel long before they cause a shutdown.
